Kids Program

Bucks County Aikido (BCA) will be offering a Kids Program for ages 8-12 beginning January 23rd 2024. Aikido is inclusive of all genders and is ideal for building teamwork, confidence, discipline, and focus. We will be focusing on Aikido foundations including martial arts techniques with conditioning and skill-building games aimed at improving coordination, motor skills, agility, and flexibility. We will also spend a few minutes at the end of each class caring for our dojo and building a sense of community, service, and responsibility. Our Kids Program is a great way to introduce your child to martial arts, to meet new friends outside of school, and to have fun while feeling more confident in their abilities.

Our classes will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30PM – 5:30PM, and led by Laura Esposito, 2nd Degree Black Belt, and Waldorf Kindergarten Teacher. Please reach out with any questions: bcakidsprogram@gmail.com

Laura is a BCA member of 11 years. She currently holds the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt. Laura has been been teaching in Waldorf schools since 2009 including Kindergarten, Games and Movement, Middle School Arts, and after school programs. She has earned her teaching certificates in PA Art K-12 as well as Waldorf Early Childhood. Laura also loves to travel and experience new cultures, be in nature and hike, garden, craft, yoga and meditation. “I’m passionate about guiding children to find their courage to express themselves and to find their confidence in the world through movement, art, community, service, and joy!”
